Mission Statement

Hightower Scholars, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist students with their preparation for a post-secondary education at a four-year college or university.  The organization also seeks to help students with funding their education by offering scholarships to qualified students.

Recent research shows that high-achieving students from low-income families are five times less likely to attend college than high-achieving students from high-income families.  They are often unaware of sources of financial help for college, and don’t know how important it is to take rigorous academic classes in order to be fully prepared for education beyond high school.  In this regard, we strive to promote early awareness and intervention for Higher Education, targeting our efforts primarily, but not exclusively toward low income and economically disadvantaged students and their families; providing college awareness services, including mentoring programs, academic enhancement activities, academic course counseling, and financial aid information sessions to the population that we serve.

Furthermore, Hightower Scholars, Inc. strongly believes that student success comes from parental involvement.  Our goal is for families, specifically parents, to participate in every step of the College search, selection and preparation process.

We also provide expert guidance and consult to secondary and post-secondary institutions in the professional development of staff members, strategic planning, and organizational behavior.  We are a nationally recognized team of highly motivated and qualified administrators dedicated to providing exceptional service and distinctive educational counsel.  Our strength is generated from our commitment to our clients, our industry, and our communities.
